Men

Men and women report different reactions to stress, both physically and mentally. They attempt to manage stress in very different ways and also perceive their ability to do so, in markedly different ways. Men and women report wide gaps between determining what is important and how successful they are at achieving those behaviors. My area of focus is on affluent individuals. Wealthy individuals, especially Men, have significant amounts of stress. They may not have to worry about where their next meal comes from, but they can experience the following types of stress related to:

  • Spending too much time at work and not with family (or vice versa)
  • Personal relationships with spouse, peers, friends, politicians, higher ups, etc.…there will always be a need to interact with other people, and this can create stress.
  • Stopping to enjoy life. Wealthy men earned their wealth because they are “go getters” and stop at nothing to achieve their goal. Some of them have trouble stopping the act of not ever having enough.
  • Keeping the wealth they worked hard for.
  • Fear of being targeted in a law suit
  • They can’t always trust the people they hire.
  • They attract fake friends
  • They have to deal with unfair haters…people who dislike you for the simple fact that you are wealthy…people perceiving you as greedy or ruthless.
  • Suffer from “Money Guilt”
  • Pressure to maintain a certain lifestyle.

The difficulty to confide in someone without the fear of showing weakness. I can help with that, and will sign a confidentiality agreement to provide additional peace of mind. I don’t have to agree with you and be your friend, I am here to assist you with your stress and provide you with the tools to recognize and manage your stress. Let’s set up some time to speak to see if there is a fit between us and allow me the opportunity to assess if I feel that I can help you. Click here to email me:
